Drake's had the album of the summer with Iceman. This past year I got into the habit of listening to albums all the way through. I got suggestions from friends and strangers of favorite albums and would let them ride so I could appreciate them artistically. I did the same with all 3 of Drake's albums while ignoring social media "critiques". I get so tired of people rush listening just so they can be the first to have an opinion. And I'm equally tired of people only choosing to consume something if other people like it (movies, food, etc). I get it but I don't.
This is an album that I enjoyed and still jam but the "Whisper My Name" song is a standout and love that he dropped an official video. I'm late to the visual party but watched it last night and felt compelled to share it.
I don't always post the biggest mainstream things because there are a thousand places for you to see that but I like posting what I like posting and thought you would appreciate this.
Not adding "crodie" to my vocabulary any time soon but all for what's happening in Toronto sonically.
