This gets real personal and heavy. I've been working with Layla Khepri for a couple years and I have no doubts she'll be a household name. But in this cyclical life no rise is complete without falls. She went to social media and was open about the passing of her mother and how it obviously affected her personally and career-wise.
I was surprised Diamond B Frazier, host of The Kickback Reloaded was that blunt in some of her questioning but I know Layla needed to share her experiences not only as a release but to help others going through such a close, personal loss. Layls's extremely strong and her bounce back is tremendous. The interview is very deep and personal as she not only discusses her forthcoming album but topics of drug use and timing in the industry!
